At the beginning of this year, I felt it was time to stop explaining my images and start living them. How do you do that? I wasn’t sure.

What I came to see was that the explaining was something I was adding on top. When I told you what an image meant, you received my interpretation. It became easier to accept what I had seen than to discover what was there for you.

The same thing happens in a feed. An image arrives between everything else, asks for a reaction in under two seconds, and moves on. There is little in that experience that invites us to become still enough to truly see.

So I’m taking away what sits between you and seeing.

These images aren’t content. They are made to be experienced.

They don’t tell you what to see. They invite you to become still enough to notice what interpretation may have been hiding—and to recognize what was always there.

This is the experience we create in our online gatherings. Now there is a way to enter that experience on your own.
