It’s a scary time to be relying on writing as a source of income, and being a trans author writing trans romance means that I have even more of an uphill climb. Word of mouth recommendations to friends are incredibly helpful, and positive reviews after release even more so.

The most helpful platforms for reviews are Amazon and Goodreads, but StoryGraph and Kobo reviews are also helpful if you’d rather avoid Bezos-owned platforms.
