New Site, Shop Hours 002, and v1.8
Telling our story in an age of software disposability.

When we launched Aphera a few months ago, we put together the minimum viable version of the site — speed and shipping was important, and we were still honing in on how to say the things we wanted to.
Every day, a new photo editor hits social media: all are vibe-coded replicas/rips or hobbyist projects built with an LLM, released into the open source wild or awaiting a TestFlight or App Store approval.
Aphera began in earnest in early 2024 and we're almost three years into this.
Today, we launched a new site that we hope tells the story of the app, and us, better.

Shop Hours 002

We had a good time chatting with folks in last week's first edition of Shop Hours, and we're doing it again this week. Come ask us questions, hang out, chat about photos, or life?!
Friday, October 23 at 10AM PST. We'll go for an hour or a bit more if folks want.
Version 1.8

Two new features that smooth out your workflow: Transfer from SD card, and Files tree in the sidebar. Learn more in the changelog, then go deep in our latest blog post.
Thanks for being here,
Juan, Naz, Ryan.
