The Why behind Praying Through the Seasons
Hello FF&SS Reader Family,
I know many of you have already read Praying Through the Seasons, and left awesome reviews. But did you know that God had a greater purpose in calling me to write this book aside from encouraging readers to pray through every season of life? Here’s a brief overview of the blog I wrote recently that gives five reasons beyond the obvious ones.
The Why behind Praying Through the Seasons
Have you ever wondered why God places certain books on an author's heart?
When I wrote Praying Through the Seasons: Seven Aspects of Prayer and Communion with God, I knew He wanted to encourage people to pray through every season of life. But as I reflected and prayed about this question during my quiet time, God showed me that He had greater reasons behind His calling.
In my newest blog post, “The Why Behind the What," I share the deeper purpose God revealed to me for writing this devotional. From introducing others to Christ and making prayer more accessible, to teaching believers how to pray for one another, hear God's voice, and apply biblical truth in everyday life, I pray these insights will encourage your own walk with the Lord.
If you've ever struggled to pray during difficult seasons or know someone who has, I invite you to take a few minutes to read the post.
If you receive a blessing from it, would you consider sharing it with a friend, your Bible study, or someone who could use a word of encouragement today? You never know how God might use a simple act of obedience to reach someone who needs Him.
And if you haven't yet picked up your copy of Praying Through the Seasons, I invite you to check it out at your favorite online retailer in eBook, or on Amazon in paperback and audio book. My prayer is that it will strengthen your faith, deepen your prayer life, and draw you into a closer relationship with Jesus.
