Summertime & the Reading is FREE

Are you ready for another Dragonblade Publishing giveaway? The “Lords of Summer” promotion begins today, with a wide selection of historical romance novels available for free.

Rectangular graphic with a background of blurred-over green grass and trees. Large letters at the top read “The Lords of Summer.” On the far left, a box contains the words “June 26-30.” At the bottom, bold yellow text reads “35+ Free Books for a limited time.” On the right side are the covers of two different historical romance novels.

Christmas in June?

As part of this promotion, the first book in my closed-door Regency romance series, Secrets at Selwyn Castle, is free from June 26-30.

White background. In the center is a book cover for “Secrets at Selwyn Castle” by author “Anne Rollins.” Cover depicts a white man and a white woman in Regency clothing gazing into each other’s eyes. Arrows coming from the cover point to green print with words or phrases. Clockwise from upper left, these texts read “so many secrets,” “Christmas house party,” “cozy mystery subplot,” “adorkable MMC,” “kissing-only romance,” and “Regency period.”

If you’re currently in the middle of a heat wave, maybe this wintertime romance will help take your mind off the heat.

And if you enjoy Secrets at Selwyn Castle, give the rest of the Beau Monde Secrets Series a chance, too. These closed-door romances feature many of the traits associated with the Rollins brand: sweet, awkward male leads; characters with neurodivergences or other disabilities; and a little blending of genres (in this case, romance and mystery). Like other Dragonblade books, they’re available in Kindle Unlimited.

Some Like it Hot

If you prefer your romance spicy, never fear: there are plenty of open door romance novels in the “Lords of Summer” promotion, including Melissa Kendall’s Companion to the Count and Addie DuLac’s Miss Thornfield’s Daring Bargain.

If that’s not enough heat for you, author Carrie Lomax has made her spicy novel Annalise free now through July 5!

Trope chart for Carrie Lomax's novel Annalise. The cover depicts a woman in a purple dress. Tropes read (clockwise from top): "innocent lady," "possessive MMC," "enemies to lovers," "grumpy/sunshine," "Bridgerton but Spicier," "age gap," and "teach me."

What’s Next?

If you’re wondering when the next Rollins story will arrive, I have good news! I have a novelette tentatively scheduled for release as part of an anthology in April 2027. There may be something released before then, in late fall of 2026, but I can’t say more about that yet.

That’s all for now, Rollins Readers. Keep calm and keep reading!
