dear friends,
it's been a week for me. i've been planning my 10 year high school reunion in the last half of this year. one part of me is psyched. another part is reliving my teenage angst from the weight that comes with organizing this event.
at the same, i'm planning my college reunion that will be happening a week after. a different energy, but i find myself connecting with a bunch of people from multiple lifetimes ago piecing together this party.
i also attended a friend's wedding this month; gathering with so many old faces i haven't seen in forever. everyone's all grown up, but it's like time had stopped and everything is still the same as when we were 17.
this last six months of 2024 is one big reunion of my past. i had a spiritual teacher tell me that when it seems like your life is retrograding and you're seeing many people from ancient history, it's a cosmic event showing you how much you've changed from where you were then versus where you are now.
it's strange and surreal, so this interpretation will do it for me.

🪴 this week: i publish a video about how to connect with your higher self. i write about my birthday reflections in my diary. i release part two on being single in the podcast. i set up a buy me a coffee page.
this week's transmission is about your higher self and the ways in which it speaks to you. i also talk about practical tips on how to listen to its guidance.
i am 29 on september 29. a short essay on my musings on growing a year older. read it here.
to tie last week’s episode with a bow, here’s part 2 on being single.
angel sandy is a passion project born out of my love for truth. if anything i publish here brings any value to your life, i'd love for you to send a gift; or as the metaphor goes "buy me a coffee."
• searching for sugar man (2012): a documentary about an unknown musician from detroit who had no clue he was famous in south africa. rodriguez was a laborer with no ambitions of fame or fortune. other than the fact that he wore the coolest pants in town, this man influenced an entire generation in cape town and didn't even know it. larger-than-life & oh so bizarre.
• the biggest 180 you've seen a person take: a reddit thread i stumbled across. the stories range from extremely tragic to extremely inspiring. if you need proof that anything is possible, go down this rabbit hole.
• zou bisou bisou: this scene in mad men still holds up as my favorite one. a sexy french-american secretary performs a flirty number for her husband's 40th birthday in the late 60s. don is aroused, confused, and embarrassed all at once. the characters are known for their slick lines and too-cool-for-school personality, but megan draper puts everyone to shame and steals the show. so tacky, yet so tasteful.
• man claims to remember all his past lives: take this podcast interview with a pinch of salt, while opening your mind to a wilder perspective. if you can do that simultaneously, this conversation can blow your mind. matías talks about reincarnation, egypt, atlantis, miracles, and aliens. it's a doozy.
until next week, dear friends.
may you see the universe in everyone's eyes.
xx
