Hello,
Me again. My big achievement of the week was giving myself a haircut and beard trim over the kitchen sink before work on Monday. Other stuff happened, the world continued to pass by at an alarming rate, and I tried (and failed) at not being the annoying extremely-online-guy. Again. One day soon some human interaction will come in to replace all that online chat but no point giving up on it just yet. Oh and big boat got stuck in a big canal and caused countless memes. A real joy to behold.
I had some really useful feedback from our Swedish correspondent, Guy, who suggested that not everyone likes Twitter and could I link elsewhere if possible? I'm going to label each link with a note as to where the link goes to and also try and source and link to the actual content rather than send you to Twitter all the time. This extremely-online-guy™️ gets a lot of his material from the raging hell hole with the blue bird, but I do appreciate it's not to everyone's taste. Thanks for the feedback and always welcome!

What at first glance appears to be a satirical article is sadly not. It's becoming harder and harder to tell these days. Having grown up in the countryside I particularly enjoyed this 'white whine' as my good friend Patrick would say.

John Carpenter's 'The Thing' is such an incredible film. If you haven't seen it you should watch it then read the above. So much work went into making these effects and still holds up.
