Hello,
Me again. <Insert something here about being busy this week but now being the weekend so it's ok>. I'm staying with my friends Bash and Gem in their enormous house with a cinema in the West Country this weekend before going cycling around for a bit and seeing family after. I expect Bash will want to talk about insulation details and lime render but so long as he provides a beer and food I suspect I will survive.
On to the links.
This is the entrance to Jacob's Well in Texas
One enormous hole in the ground full of water which attracts a lot of divers. The section in this thread shows why that it is not necessarily a good idea to dive here though.

Petition for all news outlets to learn the difference between neurodiversity and neurodivergence.
I didn't quite understand the distinction so had a quick look online. The below is a rather neat summary.
A group of people are neurodiverse, an individual is not. Neurodivergent refers the an individual who has a less typical cognitive variation such as Autism, ADHD, dyslexia, dyspraxia etc. Neurotypical refers to individuals of typical development, and intellectual/cognitive functioning.
Around the 17th century, the Dutch started reinforcing their dykes and harbours with sturdy mats the size of football pitches – hand-woven from thousands of twigs grown on nearby coppice plantations. These “fascine mattresses” were weighted with rocks and sunk into canals, estuaries, and rivers.
Really quite an impressive story illustrated with equally interesting images. Thanks to

Waste incineration is "like moving the landfill from the ground to the sky,”
Grim in every respect. Turning plastic waste into fuel for cement kilns and all the issues that come with it.
The dog link
Ten heart warming dog stories. Yes I found this via Google. Yes I was lazy. Yes I ran out of content for this week.
Thanks for tuning in and I'm off to ride my mountain bike for a bit.
Love as always,
