Hello, 

And good morning. It's stopped raining in London for a brief moment which is nice. Oh, spoke too soon, it's hammering it down again. I'm late with this due to attending the beautiful and moving wedding of James and Hannah on Friday. A sore head and Emma's BD prevented me from sending this yesterday but good things come to those that wait I guess. It's been a rollercoaster of a week and lovely to spend some time at home and just wind down a bit whilst the weather rages outside. Myrtle, our cat, has joined me on the desk to supervise the writing of this and will approve all content before sending.  

Here's ten things I found interesting this week. 

Design titles
Hit refresh to see what title you might have in the design world. Hard to believe some of these might not be real. Perhaps the 'Bemused Criminal of Nonstop Imagery' title isn't too far from the truth for me. Your milage may vary.

Why does the sunlight come from the north in shaded relief maps?​
This is really really good. Makes me think that there's a link with why we shade elevations with shadows coming from the top left also? Thanks to Guy for the link. 

Interior design on Columbo
Columbo is one of my favourite shows. Always love seeing it pop up on the TV and just fascinated by Peter Falk and his style and mannerisms. The interiors are equally as enjoyable. 

I'm a bot that colors old images in black and white using A.I
This is really quite clever. Yet to try it but going to find a few B+W pics of Grandma and Grandad to try. 

How They Shot the Breathable Fluid Scenes in ‘The Abyss’
I only recently watched this film. But god its good. I'd not really thought how they did these scenes as the thrill of watching it all kind of just takes over. 

How do I know if I have ADHD? 
A New York Times article that does a pretty good job of explaining what ADHD actually is an how it affects adults. It's probably not what you think it is. I received a diagnosis for ADHD this week which has explained a huge amount of things in my life, albeit rather painful to deal with. The ADHD Iceberg meme or diagram has also proved rather helpful. I started my journey to getting a diagnosis with this online test around 18 months ago and might help you or a loved one.

The photographer peeking at your phone
I was unsure if I felt this was creepy, or a wonderful insight into how people engage with each other via their phones. I'm going with wonderful and revealing. 

Alfredo Rivera is the greatest storyteller of our time
I know it's parody but the way in which the 'story' is told here is magnificent.
