Hello, 

Sorry it's a little late. A very nice person gave me a shot of the vaccine this morning and feeling very lucky to have been able to have it. It's incredible what the NHS is doing and how many shots they're getting into people's arms here. 

Here's some links to brighten up a miserable rainy day. I'm off to tidy the garage for a bit.

Felt a bit emotional getting to the end of this. What a lovely story and adventure. You don't need to be a lycra clad athlete to go out and enjoy all this stuff. Thanks to Will for the link.

Oh my word. My new favourite Instagram account. Just look at them. And why not have a video of a cat purring and birdsong - pretty relaxing stuff. And of course let's not forget dogs and polling stations. This image was the best I saw this week.

An incredible Twitter thread on some impressive engineering. A few I'd seen but lots of these are new to me. The description of the Krasnoyarsk ship lift I found particularly enjoyable.

Timpson decided to turn off the EPOS (electronic point of sale) systems and go manual and things got better not worse. For those not in the UK, Timpson are a high street key cutter / shoe repair place that have a reputation for really looking after their staff and customers.

Local and mayoral elections in the UK this week. Julia kindly sent me this video of Mr Patel promoting his campaign. Absolutely wonderful. He has previous form for amazing promotional videos. Don't let the C word put you off clicking on this one.
