Hello,
March.
It's March. How is it March? As everyone has already said at some point... "I'm still processing last March, how can it be March again", and yes, it does seem like yesterday this all started. I’ve seen a lot of folks having a tough week and it’s annoying to ask “are you ok” when someone clearly isn’t. I guess it’s a social convention but hard to find a way of broaching the subject otherwise. I hope we can all say “nah, I’m totally not” at some point and help each other out a bit. Or just send each other memes via WhatsApp.
Firstly a huge congratulations to Adam, Morgan and Alex for all pointing out my DELIBERATE mistake on the Daft Punk sample. As I already knew, the sample is taken from
Eddie Johns and not Elton John. That's why I never rush these things and meticulously research and fact check this newsletter but occasionally leave these deliberate mistakes in to keep everyone entertained. A little like
Easter eggs in 90s computer games.
And another bit of admin.
I want your money. (but no one has any money Andy).
I know but here I am cap in hand asking for some cash.
I'm trying to raise at least £1500 for
Coram who are a superb charity supporting children in the UK.
I won't explain here what I'm doing to deserve your hard earned money but would love it if you would click through... Won't someone think of the children. Please.

Ok, enough chat. Now here are your links and please leave me in peace.

14/10 for Minnie and her ability to assist on a desk. 100% would pet again.
And if I just connect this wire
The collated mishaps of a YouTube electrical explainer guy. Any 'supercut' always reminds me of my favourite all time one entitled '
it's the 90's' that Lawrence sent me many years ago.
It’s easy to be outraged by poor doors
‘Poor doors’ are a term used to define separate entrances for affordable housing contained within larger housing in housing developments. There’s been a lot of outrage about them this week and an awful lot of poorly written articles. This seemed like a well thought out article on the topic. It’s also a useful reminder to step away from the immediacy out outrage and look into the subject a little more - something I’m very much guilty of on numerous occasions.
Goat towers
You gotta be kidding me! I did not know about these, but I do now thanks to

No shit. Another great piece in The New Yorker. Next week, why Microsoft Teams is destroying our souls - from the New York Times.
