Hello, hello,
Doesn't time fly eh. Remember this? Well an eight month hiatus shouldn't stop us sending out a few things to read over the weekend. Here are ten things that you might have seen already, might enjoy or might just want to skip over and head outside and enjoy the fresh air. Regardless they are all below in case you do need something to digest.
We don't work on Friday so this is our end of week and adjusting to sending on a Thursday rather than Friday from now on.
‘Succession’ characters ranked
They're all awful, but found this summary to be quite amusing. What a series. Quite glad it's over as so so stressful to watch.
Rural Americans are importing tiny Japanese pickup trucks
LOOK HOW CUTE THEY ARE! A wonderful antidote to those awful trucks that everyone seems to be buying. Practical AND cute. Love them.
An illustrated guide to the pub cats of north London
A joyful piece of writing as well as beautiful illustrations to match.
One of the most famous memos in all of Microsoft's history
I love tech history and stories of excess. Some good lessons here.
Sunburn Photographic Printing
Visually pleasing but painful to look at. Not recommended, always wear sunscreen!
Me & My TRS-80: Kids And Their Computers in the 1980s
Come for the computer nostalgia, stay for the outfits.
One year ago today I finally bought myself a bike, having been entirely vehicle-less for years
A lovely little narrative of using a bicycle again.
The unintentional dystopian beauty of oil rigs
Does what it says on the tin.
How Apple Names Things
A rather clever bit of representation of how all those words overlap and work together. Hard to explain, but click on the link. Best on a desktop/laptop.
What Can We Learn from Barnes & Noble's Surprising Turnaround?
A really interesting story of how something really crappy was turned into a well loved and profitable company. More interesting than it sounds perhaps.
That's all for now, hope you have a lovely weekend.
Love as always,
Andy x
