resurfacing old art
I don’t have much to say in this installment, but I do have a couple cool things to share!
Art @ Sour Cherry Comics (January 31)

In a couple weeks I’m back at Sour Cherry Comics, the magnificent queer-owned comic shop in the Mission in San Francisco! It’d be wonderful to see you and your friends at the art show opening on Saturday, January 31, 6-9pm at 3187 16th Street. I have four pieces in the show, two of which have never been shown publicly before (the two drawings on the right)! They are all extremely affordable!

If you can’t make it that evening, the show will be up for half of the year, so you’ll have plenty of time to pop into the shop or attend another fun event or interesting book club.
More tiny art in the shop!

Upon doing some deep cleaning over the holiday break, I unearthed some really beautiful art that I assumed I had sold already 😅 I also found some old sketches that I want to turn into fully formed artworks, but that’s another newsletter for another day. Needless to say I think I hid these ones away because I love them so much.
But we can share the love! These one-of-a-kind drawings could enter your home if you wanted. I’ve updated my tiny drawing Ko-fi listing in case any of these speak to you.

KT Seibert has an incredible show, “Be Not Afraid”, at Moth Belly Gallery in San Francisco. The blurb on the website says it best: “The show reimagines Catholic and Orthodox visual language through a queer and trans lens—infusing traditional symbols like sacred hearts, halos, and crosses with bright color, glitter, and defiant joy.”
Climate artist Nicole Kelner made a great post talking about going more analog in 2026. It’s definitely a trend, but one I’m pleased to keep seeing people talk about.
