Our little basketry guild is growing!

We are expanding our Open Weave offerings through the winter. These events are free to attend. Materials will be available for purchase for those who wish to participate in the group project.

The group project for the Saturday, November 23, Open Weave in Edmonton will be a Cattail Berry Basket.

We are in the process of creating a website for our events. We are currently using Lu.ma to allow people to register and pay for events.

Weaving Connections, on March 7-9, 2025 we will be gathering for a weekend of weaving at Aspen Ridge Greenhouse. This is the third year we have held this event and our first year running it as the Alberta Basketry Guild.

We will be in touch in December with information on how to register and pay for classes. If you like, you can check in at the Facebook event
