Anthropic investors target $2 trillion IPO for October
Quartz
Half a dozen Anthropic backers say the company is on track to list in October at a valuation of $2 trillion or more, which would make it the largest initial public offering on record, ahead of SpaceX's $1.77 trillion debut in June. Investors expect annualized revenue between $100 billion and $120 billion by year-end, up from the $47 billion run rate reported in May. Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs and JPMorgan Chase are lead underwriters; Anthropic executives have not publicly fixed a valuation target, so the figure reflects investor expectations rather than company guidance.
