No Charges: Grand jury declines homicide filing in Moeller student crash.

A Hamilton County grand jury declined to indict a 29-year-old man for the October death of Moeller High student Dylan Straughn. The driver faces lesser charges after hitting the teen on his bike, thinking he struck a deer. The crash remains classified as an accident.

Interim Mayor: Fort Thomas names temporary leader amid city finance dispute.

Fort Thomas City Council appointed Andy Ellison as interim mayor following scrutiny of City Administrator Matthew Kremer over financial mismanagement. Ellison assumes full executive authority while the council seeks a replacement for his vacated seat by December 17.
