Dear friends,

I hope you're making a plan to vote before November 3!

Before you head to the polls, check out voteGiL.org/issues to learn about the ballot questions. Consider voting for independent candidates who more closely align with your views. Our democracy is stronger when we have more choices.

Want to hear directly from the candidates for 5th Essex State Representative?

Cape Ann’s own 1623 Studios has posted two videos this month featuring the candidates.

1. Three candidate interviews

This 40-minute video includes 15-minute interviews with each candidate. Mine starts at minute 24. Short on time? Skip to my closing statement around minute 36. The link takes you to the middle of my interview.

2. The candidates' forum

In this recording, we answer more than a dozen questions. Things get particularly feisty around minute 55. It's a revealing discussion—and frankly, it's troubling that we still have to debate whether fundamental human rights are negotiable. The link takes you to the discussion about trans athletes.

I'd love to hear from you! If you'd like to talk with me or have me speak with your group, please reach out. I'm happy to make time.

And in solidarity, will you please vote for me? I'd be honored to represent our 40,000 neighbors in the State House.
Sincerely,
Gil
