Little Victories [Mid-Week Check In]

Current Ambiance: Seaside Cafe with Jazz and Bossa Nova
Good morning, my fellow badasses! I hope the last few days have been tolerable, maybe even positive, for you! It’s Wednesday, so I’m checking in, to see how you’re all doing, with writing and life itself.
It’s been a slow few days for me. I guess it goes without saying I don’t have much to report writing wise. It’s the first week I’m doing this, after all. But I’ve kept the house clean and gone for walks, and kept up a decent schedule with waking up and going to bed… when you’re recovering from depression, any little victory counts.
Let me share some dialogue from this scene I’m working on:
“Who are you?”
“Come now, young one. You are not so distant from your kin as to have such doubts.”
“I suppose- I suppose there is only one man you could be.”
“And there is only one man you can be, young Owen Rosedown. … I thought I would never see you again.”
Next week, there will be much more to share on my end. Nothing short of a medical emergency will stop me.
So how about you? What’s going on with your life? Any progress on your fiction, or your other work? I’d love to hear about anything you’re willing to share.
Until next time, keep being awesome!
