Knowing Is Not the Same as Living
Lately I've been thinking about the difference between knowing and remembering.
You can know a tremendous amount about circadian biology - the quantum biophysics of Nature.
You can understand mitochondria, sunlight, meal timing, darkness, grounding, magnetism, nervous system regulation.
You can listen to all the podcasts.
And still find yourself awake at 11pm, lit by a screen, wondering why your body hasn't gotten the memo.
I know this because I've lived it.
At some point in my own journey, information stopped being enough. I needed to change the conditions of my life so that my body could experience what I had been learning.
That distinction has become central to my work:
Knowing about health is one thing.
Living inside conditions that support health is another.
This is part of why we created Circadian REHAB.
For seven days, you don't have to figure it all out.
You simply live it.
Wake with the sun.
Move with the day.
Eat with the light.
Spend time in nature.
Let darkness arrive.
Rest.
And notice.
What changes when the environment changes?
I'm increasingly interested in that question.
