A place for poking questions around information management and doing so through the lens of being a chronically ill and disabled librarian. My hope for this space is that I can share some of how I deal with information overwhelm in a perpetually online and data driven era to help other people feel less alone with their own struggles and experiments.
My background is in library and information science (I went to school to become a librarian - MLIS) and am in training to become an official Bullet Journal teacher. I am also someone who lives with chronic illness and disability - both of which have fundamentally changed how and why I take notes on the world around me to help me better remember things on brain fog days and to have support in advocating for myself in doctors' offices.
All this means is that I love questions about how people organize information and hope to help people find or make their own methods for gathering information and inspiration, while being self-reflective, to discover and achieve their own goals.
