The Chronic Librarian

A trained librarian who can't stop thinking about webs of information while also living with disability and chronic illness. For me, organizing is about making things (email, physical spaces, my mind) more comfortable or usable when and where I can. This is not a space for singular definitions of "tidy," but rather a place for me to be emotional and reflective about my relationship with object and information.

I firmly believe that this looks different for everyone - my goal is to ask questions and support people through the process of finding out what works for them, in this time, in their current space.

In this newsletter, I share reflections on navigating the vast waves and webs of information in daily life as someone who loves research but also needs time and space for reflection. As a disabled person, I have had to change how I organize my physical and mental spaces to suit how my capacity varies from day to day.
