You guessed it: we can't quite recession-proof our investments

I’ve been actively not looking at my investments and really, really trying to remember that markets go through cycles. I’ve also been reminding myself that my portfolio is diversified and I’m confident in my investments. 

But it’s extremely hard when you see a (mostly) downward trend when compared to January. Sometimes it feels like investments are the only thing going down while everything else is going up. When it’s just you, it feels even worse, watching your investments dwindle.
