Simuka Africa Team Newsletter: Jan. 30, 2026

Hello, All!

Unfortunately, this week tossed us quite a few curve balls. Be advised:

  • Torrential rains and flooding in Zimbabwe stranded our Founding Director and staff members for 3 days in the midst of outreach, washing out roads and making travel impossible.

  • A major winter snow storm & frigid temperatures (-4°F / -20°C) also struck my area last weekend, resulting in connectivity and transportation issues. Another storm is expected this weekend.

Thank you for your patience with our response times as we manage these situations and handle the communication backlog.

Final Thoughts

The good things in our lives often don’t advertise or shout through headlines. Instead, they quietly keep us going. The same can be said of the content you create on behalf of Simuka Africa. Your volunteer work ensures that others in critical situations are inspired the same way.

So take some time this weekend to reflect on the incredible humanitarian drive you have to actively be a part of global change. We are truly unable to do this without your efforts. Thank you for being YOU!

May light, peace & joy always be with you.

Serving the Youth of Zimbabwe since 2006
