Simuka Africa Team Newsletter: Feb. 9, 2026

Hello, All!
For Q1 2026, Simuka Africa switched to a newsletter format for the Friday Briefings for our volunteers due to continued issues with Gmail. So far, all of you have consistently reported receiving this communication.
Secondly, our website hosting provider has now fixed their AI assistant. Previously, this AI tool has been flooding our queues with auto-generated content and rearranging the order of our publishing schedule since July 2025. We hope to publish in order of submission moving forward.
Thank you to all who attended AI Art Therapy today with 34 Gallery Art Advisor Mind Soul Meditations on HeyPeers! This series will continue through May every Friday. Information on A.I. tools and prompting will be provided. Interested? Register here.
Our next Creative Career Focus Meeting will be Feb. 21, 2025. Register here.

Final Thoughts
As I type this, snow is starting to fall outside that was forecast to begin tomorrow. Despite our best intentions, Nature seems to have other plans entirely for 2026.
We are still handling the email backlog due to the January storms that impacted members of our staff. In a time of record-breaking climate catastrophe, thank you for your patience with our response times.
As a reminder, our staff and artists are located in 35 countries. To track the conditions around the world, check the HungerMap provided by the World Food Program.
Respectfully, M.
May light, peace & joy always be with you.
