The Adige River is a living body, flowing from the Alpine “head" (Val Venosta) down to the "feet"
well rooted where the Pianura Padana meets the Adriatic sea. In holistic medicine, health is about
balance and flow. Waterbodies is a poetic research into the river flow state and health, reconnecting
to rivers as living bodies deeply interconnected with our own. The sound of rivers have a profound
physiological impact of us, soothing our nervous system and calming our heartbeat. The project
explores how deep listening to rivers could allow us to symbolically heal one another, remembering
the waters that we are from.
