Hi friends

I’ve been writing poems as part of my year of giving new things a go. It’s going well so far, and I’ve created two poetry zines!

The one on the left is called ‘Your Flowers’ It is my most recent zine and it is available now!

Like my last zine, the poems in ‘Your Flowers’ are a mix of serious and silly. The title ‘Your Flowers’ comes from a poem I wrote about my mum (I’ve written a lot about my lovely mum to be honest, the last zine had a few about her. She actually doesn’t know I write poems, let alone sell them. I should show her really but I’m too embarrassed! Make sense of that because I certainly can’t!)

I’ve also written about other topics, everything from the scourge of war and the state of the North of England, to Greggs muffins to the dodginess of my cat’s bladder… a bit of a mix and at times the tone shift may give you whiplash.

I’ve added some scribbly black and white illustrations inside and the cover is in colour, with photos I took last summer. It’s A5, 16 pages total, for you zine nerds out there.
