I am an anti AI Spiritualist

Ethics of Hearthfire Wisdom

Hearthfire wisdom is…

…a return to rituals and occult wisdom that has been around for centuries. It is also literal art that expresses this visually, better than words ever could.

But we don’t just do this willy nilly, there are certain ethical frameworks that are always in place.

Hearthfire wisdom is not…

..an AI Stan account. In the fields of sustainability and the environment, AI is helping to preserve natural resources and helping us to not blow up this planet. This is something I (Julianne) can get behind. I feel similarly about its role in modern medicine.

But I am an artist, and you will never see AI “art” of any kind around here, and here’s why:

if you think that AI art is the bees knees or “ just a tool like photoshop” and “just the same as human produced art” then we’re probably not going to be a good fit. In life, I’m willing to compromise on a lot of things, but this isn’t one of them, and here’s why:

  • If you think of the principle of “As above, so below,” I work with “below.” This means slow living, rituals, nature spirits-that sort of thing. The dominant, patriarchal culture is very good at “above…” valuing thought, reason, and doing things “just because we can.” This type of innovation has its place, and has given us many useful inventions, but around here we draw the limit on AI “art” BECAUSE…

  • Creativity is a sacred thing. It’s what humans have used for centuries to create meaning in their lives.

  • For me personally, it’s a magical and alchemical process. I use being creative as a tool to process life and to show and guide you to make the necessary shift in consciousness we all must make now, in these times when everything seems like it’s falling apart, and we must change how we live in order to survive. Joanna Macy calls this The Great Turning. It is a revolution that’s happening quietly and from the ground up. It does include things like growing your own food and protesting, but consciousness shifting is part of it. It’s what you do too, if you’re a witch or magic maker.

  • AI “art” disconnects you from reality. The goal and purpose of this publication is to help you stay grounded, so that you can make reality work for you, or change it as necessary.

  • I am deeply concerned about AI because it’s getting more and more sophisticated. Our world as we know it is in peril. I am convinced that, counterintuitively, the way to move through this is not to escape, but to move through it. Effectively, this means becoming MORE human, not less. To me, that’s the principle of “below” means. we are bringing balance back. If you agree with this, then you are in the right place.

  • In my opinion, any “witchfluencer” you see using Ai, especially visual Ai, instantly loses credibility because they are being less authentic and genuine.

…your guru

The goal is to open doors for you to access your own wisdom & the things that matter to you. Yes I channel through my art and in readings, but these should not be taken as a substitute for life advice or mental health counseling.

I am trained in energy healing and meditation. On social media, that makes me fall into the wellness and alternative medicine niche.

I believe in this work and I have personally found it to be life changing. However, it has not escaped my notice that yes, I am just another millennial white girl who is into this sort of thing.

I think it is common for those who come from my socioeconomic background to have blind spots around privilege, and I am no exception. I have become aware that I should never assume anything, and that there is always more for me to learn.

I am also not unaware of the fact that there can be cult-y aspects to doing this work. For this reason, I would never consider myself a “healer,” I feel that “facilitating “ is a better term-why? A healer holds all the power, and in the long term, my work is about helping you empower yourself (with a lot of support!)

So if all this sounds good, welcome.
