  • 🏳️‍🌈🏫🏛️ On Thursday, the Michigan State Board of Education voted to adopt new health education standards which advise schools to teach students about sexual orientation and gender identity within sex education curricula. This remains optional for school districts to implement, and parents are allowed to opt children out of sex ed.
