  • 🏳️‍🌈🏛️ A report published this month found that since President Trump began his second term, over 360 federal surveys and other data collections have removed questions related to sexual orientation or gender identity, with 94% of these removals involving gender identity questions and most removals not following the usual formal process for changes to federal surveys.

  • 🏳️‍⚧️🏫⚖️ Last Monday, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that schools in California can implement policies that forcibly out and misgender trans students, which is likely to impact school policies about forced outing across the country.

  • 🏳️‍⚧️🏫 On February 26, a nonbinary student filed a lawsuit against Kalamazoo Public Schools in Michigan for allegedly neglecting to stop continued gender-based harassment and bullying, beginning in 2023.

    The Loy Norrix High School student says the school district did nothing to protect them or investigate claims they were being assaulted and harassed.

  • 🏳️‍⚧️🚻🏛️ On February 26, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission ruled that federal agencies are allowed to ban trans employees from using bathrooms that match their gender.
