Development Has Ended :-/ | Suck it, Zombies!

// Kinda.

I am finished implementing new features for now. I am going to spend the next day or so testing LAN functionality - everything will work for the person doing it; I just need to make sure everything is mirrored to the peers correctly, and then the game will, technically, be complete.

Once this is done, I will push the first actual literal legitimate official Production release.

// And then?

I'm not sure how much I can actually say about it, but during the process of building this game, I reached-out to a local business owner about possibly building him an app, and it accidentally turned into a joint business venture.

I am not going to abandon this game, but I want you all to know that my work on it will slow to a true hobbyist's pace, instead of the frantic escapist blinders for which it has been used thus far. The trade-off should be pretty huge for me personally, and will allow me to create many different forms of entertainment for everyone to enjoy - not to mention the chance to help build "Third Spaces" where they have been so severely lacking the past few decades.

I am going to try to push the Production release this weekend - tomorrow, maybe Monday at the latest. At that point, the Early Access, Pre-Release, and all other release tracks that aren't "Production" or "Beta" will be closed. I'm not sure how that will affect those of you still on the Alpha track, but I assume it will force you over automatically. ¯\( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)/¯

I will continue to work on the game and release the other features (new maps, weapons, playable characters, and mechanics) over time. I know I said I'd release the roach character next, but I think it may be more of a payoff to make a new map with some slightly different mechanics. Water or something- y'know?
