Hello,

looking forward to seeing some of you tomorrow evening from 6-8pm, in the private dining room upstairs at Yalm.

We have 2 brilliant speakers lined up…

1️⃣ Tegan Palmer will be showcasing Oky, the world’s first period tracker created for girls, by girls, live in 11 countries. As well as sharing how you go about making a tech tool for such a wide variety of users, Tegan will show how creating a ‘Theory of Change’ is a central part of any tech for good initiative.

2️⃣ Vini Pereira is a researcher with a strong focus on climate change, who uses design approaches to help democratise technology and transform sociotechnical systems. He will introduce us to the technique of 'troubles-focused co-design', with a practical exercise that challenges whether ‘techno-fixes’ are always the best solution.

Be warned: there will be sticky notes.

If you like, you can RSVP here for tomorrow and future events. If you’d find it reassuring to know what to expect, click here (with thanks to Robin from Fairer Games for suggesting this!)

See you there,

Issie
