hope you’re not feeling too wobbly about the end of summer and general back to school vibes (just me?).

The good news is that our next meetup will be on October 1st at 6pm, in the private dining room upstairs at Yalm, with 2 amazing speakers lined up - RSVP here!

1️⃣ Tegan Palmer will be showcasing Oky, the world’s first period tracker created for girls, by girls, live in 11 countries. As well as sharing how you go about making a tech tool for such a wide variety of users, Tegan will show how creating a ‘Theory of Change’ is a central part of any tech for good initiative.

2️⃣ Vini Pereira is a researcher with a strong focus on climate change, who uses design approaches to help democratise technology and transform sociotechnical systems. He will introduce us to the technique of 'troubles-focused co-design', with a practical exercise that challenges whether ‘techno-fixes’ are always the best solution.

And, if you feel like forward planning, our November meet will be on Thursday 12th November, and our Xmas special will be on Wednesday 9th December. Stay tuned, we have something fun planned!
