WEST WALES WILD WATCH

Free wildlife recording sessions with West Wales Biodiversity Information Centre. A great way to discover the local wildlife.

ACTIVITIES

Save the Teifi – Public Meeting

Guest speaker: Monica Feria-Tinta, speaking about her global work on nature rights and protecting land and rivers from biodiversity loss. Mwldan Theatre Tuesday 26th May 7pm.

Water Explorers Talk

This online session will spotlight the importance of protecting oceans and freshwater ecosystems, while sharing inspiring examples of action and engagement. Wednesday 27th May.

On Saturday 6th June open your growing spaces to show off your vibrant spaces and fill them with laughter, learning, and plenty of green.

The Big Lunch and The Big Help

Imagine Action Toolkit

Monthly online lunchtime training seminar to deliver your message in engaging ways: 1hr seminar followed by an option to stay on for a 30-minute workshop to apply the tools to your work.

Plant-Pollinator Interactions

Learn why plant–pollinator interactions matter, how they underpin the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Tuesday 26th May = £12.50.

Botanical Anatomy

Build your understanding of botanical anatomy considering the structure and function of leaves, flowers and fruits and seeds. Wednesday 27th May for three weeks = £60.

Discovering Amphibians

Learn about the key characteristics of amphibians and look in-depth into the identification and ecology of UK species. From Friday 29th May for two weeks = £20.

CAT Short Courses

  • Saturday 30th - Sunday 31st May - Introduction to Beekeeping

  • Saturday 6th - Sunday 7th June - Building with Earth and Natural Fibres

Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) for Reviewers

Gain a better understanding of BNG and explore what to expect and how to interpret the Metric when reviewing. From Tuesday 2nd June for four weeks = £100.
