Hi ballet friend,
My body moves best when Iām in performance mode. Whether Iām dancing or doing the ballet conditioning that supports my dancing, turning on the tunes and getting my expressive self in gear makes everything feel stronger, easier, and more fun.
One of the tricks that helps me get there, is what my teacher used to call the "personality pocket." It's that little divot between your collar bones, and if you think of shining your personality out from that point, something magic happens. šŖ
Whether you're moving or standing still, there's an expansiveness and a presence that reads so beautifully to your audience.
If you love that gorgeous feeling of self expression, this is how you keep growing it in every single class ā no matter the style or level. Added bonus: shining out your personality helps activate your fascial system making balance, strength, and coordination come easier, too.
