Our kettle sour is back...with a juicy twist! Introducing "Jerry Cherry Berry Sour"! This iteration of our classic kettle sour is suitably tart, dry (read: drinkable!) and chockful of bright, ripe and jammy fruit overtones.
Our brewers mash in German-grown pilsner malt, Canadian white wheat malt and a touch of German acidulated malt (for pH adjustment). After the mash is recirculated for a time, we transfer to our kettle, boil briefly and cool the wort to about 110 degrees F. At this point, live Lactobacillus is added to the kettle for a 'souring' effect, resulting in a wickedly tart finish; hence the term "kettle sour". The soured wort is transferred to a uni-tank and is fermented for about one week. Towards the end of fermentation, we add over 80 pounds of fresh, aseptic fruit grown right here in Oregon. This time in addition to Oregon marionberry, we added dark sweet cherry to the mix. The result is a divine combo of ripe, jam-packed fruit that perfectly balances the underlying tart flavor. It's an everyday quenching beverage with a real palate-cleansing effect that even Jerry would've loved! ON DRAFT NOW! 5.7% ABV (cans coming in February).

Also returning for some FRESH DRAFT BEER action: "Soak Up The Citra"! Our beloved Pale Ale was an instant home run with our regulars when we first brewed it in 2019, so we decided to keep it on as a semi full-time offering. We think pale ales are a bit unloved as far as beer styles go, but this one pushes the envelope in our humble opinion. We use Citra hops from the Yakima Valley and they impart big citrus notes of orange peel, grapefruit, lime and some tropical notes as well. We keep the malt bill pretty simple to keep this quaffer from getting too sweet or overpowering - the hops are the real showcase here! For those of you that don't want the big IPA taste (or alcohol content), but love the hoppy flavor and aromas, this one's for you. ON DRAFT NOW! 5.5% ABV
