Lager Tasting and Holiday Hours

Of course we like making IPA's, but we LOVE drinking lager beers! We're pretty happy with our lagers and they're definitely appreciated by our good brewing friends in Portland. Come by this Thursday, the 29th and taste our Pilsner, Amber Lager and Dortmunder Lager. $7 gets you a 4 ounce sample of all three!

"Plywood Pilsner" is our Spring/Summer lager with a big noble hop aroma, balanced maltiness and pleasant hop bitterness.

"Academy Amber" is akin to a light Bockbier with a smooth toasty and nutty flavor and restrained bitterness.

"Dortmunder Wonder" is like our malt-driven "Korabrau Helles", but with a bigger hop flavor and higher ABV.

We invited our friend and photographer, Brett Downen, to come by and capture the action during last week's brew day. Brett got some great never-seen-before images of what goes on behind-the-scenes at Montavilla Brew Works! We'll be posting images to our website and to our Facebook page, so keep your eyes peeled!             We're CLOSED on Easter Sunday, so come in on Saturday til 10pm and fill your growlers for Easter dinner!
