It's the holiday season and we've got some special hours coming up: 3pm-8pm Christmas Eve, New Years Eve and New Years Day. We will be CLOSED on Christmas Day.
Also, starting on January 1st, we will be changing our Sunday hours for the wintertime: 3pm-8pm. All other days/hours remain the same! (Mon: Closed, T/W/TH: 3-8pm, Sat: 3-9pm, Sun 3-8pm)

OLD MONTAVILLAIN is available in cans for a limited time and these won't last long. We're only packaging a few cases of this big guy for the holidays, and it's available starting today (until we're out). With the arctic blast bearing down on Portland this week, we highly advise that you get down to MBW soon for any holiday beer needs.
About "Old Montavillain":
Our brewers start with a hefty dose of Scottish Golden Promise pale malt to give O.M. a suitable malt base. Add to that a few specialty malts for a dark fruit dynamic, spicy German Amarillo hops for flavor and you've got a stunning beer even before we barrel age it!
After fermentation, we transferred the beer into Freeland Spirits whiskey barrels and there it sat for about three months. The barrels we used were from a "Private Reserve" selection and began as red wine barrels before being filled with American whiskey. This elegant beauty exhibits notes of dark fruit, red wine grapes, anise/licorice, oak and smooth, mellow whiskey! 8% ABV - On tap now and in cans while supplies last!
