Share Your Focus

Dear Mojeek Community,

In August 2022 we launched Mojeek Focus, allowing you to search the web you want, confining your search to a defined collection of websites.

Since this release, which also came with a set of templates that we'd created as a team: dictionary, recipes, time, and weather, we've heard about a variety of different ways people have used Focus.

Today we've opened up a process so that your useful creations can become tools for everyone.

Share Your Focus

In an age where many are complaining about the things that search engines do or do not show, in a world where everyone has their own set of interests, shouldn't search reflect this? This question is one of the reasons why Mojeek Focus exists, a tool which gives you back control, allowing search to further embody the variety of views and experiences of its users.

Building off this, if someone has found an interesting and useful list of sites to search across in order to help them find recipes, explore a niche, or learn something new, wouldn’t it be a great idea to share it?

It will be no surprise to you that, given today’s announcement, our resounding answer is “yes”. Read more...

Your Search Engine Needs YOU!

In case you missed it, we've turned on the new algorithm that our last email invited you to test. Thanks to everyone who tried it out and sent in feedback. We still are looking for people to send in things which could be improved in order to make our next update to this algorithm even better. You can do so via the Submit Feedback button on the results pages, or via the Contact Page.
