5 Billion Pages and Counting
Dear Mojeek community,
Today we can now update the index-size timeline once again, and this time it’s a very big milestone, 5 billion pages!
Whilst other alternative options in search have stayed tied to Big Tech indexes, we’ve continued to plug away on our mission to provide the world with a true alternative in search. A search solution which doesn’t require a relationship with a company that doesn’t share our perspective on many important issues.
This means that when you search on Mojeek, you are providing no support to a company whose business model is based on harvesting the data of its users, tagging them with aspects of their history and demographics, and selling access to this package off to the highest bidder.
If you’d like to celebrate this milestone with us, we invite you to come talk search on community.mojeek.com.
New Look Blog
The Mojeek Blog has been an invaluable resource for anyone wanting to learn about product updates, our stances and values, or read about what we’re up to. This being said, the look and feel needed some love, and so we recently pushed an updated template to blog.mojeek.com.
This new blog skin prioritizes navigability, whilst providing a fresh and easy-to-use interface. If you have comments then we’d love to hear them on community.mojeek.com.

We are looking to find out how many people have made the jump from iOS or stock Android to an alternative, such as LineageOS, /e/, GrapheneOS, CalyxOS, SailfishOS, Manjaro ARM, or any of the other non-Big Tech projects looking to provide people with options outside the panopticon.
Whether you do or don’t, we’d like to know. For ease and speed we set-up some simple polls:
