3FM · Politics10:26 Former MHK accuses Chief Minister of delaying assisted dying laws • A former MHK has accused the Chief Minister of delaying the Island's assisted dying laws. • In an open letter, Quintin Gill - who represented Rushen from 2001 to 2011 - criticised Alf Cannan over his handling of the Assisted Dying Bill. • He’s accusing Mr Cannan of unilaterally contacting the UK to ask for amendments, saying he’d joined some UK politicians to oppose the legislation.

3FM · Transport07:30 Sailings rescheduled because of Manxman maintenance • The Steam Packet's rescheduling two sailings on Tuesday as the Manxman undergoes maintenance. • Her scheduled 8.30am crossing from Douglas to Heysham will be covered by the Manannan, and set off at 7.30am instead on Tuesday, June 16. • Meanwhile the return trip from Lancashire, which had been due for 2.15pm, will now be leaving at 11.30am.

3FM · Island News06:51 More than 17,500 were on appointment waiting list • More than 17,500 patients were reported to be on a waiting list for medical appointments earlier this year. • Health Minister Claire Christian gave the figure for March in response to a Tynwald question for written reply from Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK Jason Moorhouse. • Meanwhile she said a total of 124,567 outpatient appointments took place over the past financial year.

3FM · Transport06:46 Petition launched demanding new bus service • More than 40 people have signed a petition demanding a new bus service. • Samantha Hounsell set up the change.org campaign asking for a direct bus from the west of the Island to University College Isle of Man. • She says more than 20 years ago she had to get two buses to reach the college, and nothing has changed in that time - adding having to change buses puts unnecessary strain on students.

IoM Today · Law11:12 Man stamped on pubgoer who tried to intervene in argument • Court hears victim was assaulted while attempting to defuse a confrontation. • Shayne Forrester denied assault causing actual bodily harm and disorderly behaviour on licensed premises but was found guilty after a summary court trial. • He was also ordered to pay £1,000 compensation to the victim and £1,500 prosecution costs due to the matter going to trial.
