3FM · Business13:58 Island planning new vape fluid tax • The government has launched a consultation about taxing Island businesses that make or import vaping fluid from outside the UK. • Duty on them will be brought in on Thursday, October 1 in line with the UK under our customs and excise agreement. • It’ll apply to all e-liquids, including those made at home and be charged at £2.20 for 10 millilitres.

3FM · Transport11:51 Warning over kids crossing roads in front of buses • Bus Vannin has issued a warning for children - who it says are crossing the road dangerously after getting off its services. • On social media, the organisation says children getting off buses are crossing in front of them. • In a post on Facebook, it points out they won’t be able to see cars passing vehicles, and drivers won’t be able to see them until it’s too late.
