Manx Radio · Health14:33 Option to relocate dementia patients no longer being considered by Manx Care • Body issues further update on reinstatement of rehab service to north. • An options paper looking at ’potential approaches for the future delivery of rehabilitation services’ in the north of the Island is to be presented to the Manx Care Board in July. • That’s from the healthcare body, which has provided an update ’following recent public discussion.

3FM · Transport12:05 Ferry ID checks may require new laws, says regulator • Forcing ferry passengers to carry ID and keeping their details on file may need new laws, according to the Island's information commissioner. • Dr Alexandra Delaney-Bhattacharya’s office responded to a public consultation about whether passengers will need verified ID to travel to and from the Isle of Man by sea in future.

3FM · Island News17:18 Local authority to ban feeding wild birds • Feeding the birds in the south of the Island could be about to get very expensive - as commissioners consider bringing in new byelaws. • Arbory and Rushen’s board says it’s had a number of complaints people causing a nuisance feeding wild birds. • The local authority says it’s considering introducing a ban, with a fine of up to £5,000 for those who flout the law.

3FM · Business13:56 50 acres of land in St Johns for sale • Around 50 acres of farmland in the west of the Island is up for sale. • The land, which stretches along the main road from St Johns to Peel, lies on either side of the old railway line. • The Ballaleece land comes with a development uplift clause, which means the landowner would share in any future increase in its value.

3FM · Island News06:58 UK MP calls on Island to tackle 'dirty money' • A Tory MP has called on the Isle of Man to take action over "dirty money" before Britain hosts a G20 summit next year. • Sir Andrew Mitchell, who represents Sutton Colefield, named Jersey, Guernsey and the Isle of Man during a House of Commons debate about an illicit finance summit. • He said all three Crown dependencies needed to make specific, time-bound commitments about beneficial ownership registers before the G20 meets in 2027.

3FM · Transport13:06 Roadworks for a week on key Ramsey road • A series of roadworks will be taking place along a key road in Ramsey from today. • The Department of Infrastructure says repairs on Albert Street will continue until next Friday, June 19. • There’ll be temporary traffic lights, with work happening between the junctions with Tower Road and Parsonage Road.

3FM · Island News11:37 Seriously injured TT rider to return home • A rider who was seriously injured in the TT will soon be returning home to Finland. • Erno Kostamo’s team posted an update on Facebook, saying surgeries on his hip and thigh have gone well, meaning he can be discharged from Aintree Hospital in Liverpool. • The competitor crashed at the 11th milestone in the red flag incident during the Senior TT.

3FM · Politics07:26 Government won't reveal some TT setup costs • The Department of Infrastructure says it won't reveal some of the costs of TT work because it might damage its commercial interests. • A Freedom of Information request asked for details about how much getting the course ready had cost this year. • The DOI said it needed a special vehicle to set up the one-way system on the Mountain Road, and had a contract with a private firm to paint kerbs and put up signs for temporary speed limits.
