Helping Multilingual Learners Thrive

Multilingual learners (MLs) are students who are developing proficiency in multiple languages. This includes students learning English as an additional language in school (often referred to as "English learners" or "English language learners").

In this newsletter, I publish short, accessible articles with ideas for supporting MLs in your classroom/school. The ideas are practical and based on current language acquisition research.

I'm a full professor of education specializing in ML education at Westminster University in Salt Lake City, Utah.
