Too Loud and Too Old is all the stuff I would yell about over a beer or coffee after a long time away from each other. As I presciently wrote in Issue #1: "Unfortunately, if we were getting a drink together I’d probably forget to tell you that I'd won an Emmy but I'd definitely tell you the fun fact I read in National Geographic last month." It's served with an absolutely irresponsible amount of naval gazing.
My favorite issue is about New York City's storied history with sewer alligators. For reasons even I don't understand, I've written a lot about animals: twice about sharks, the T-rex, and Pale Male (AN ICON).
