This is a monthly(ish) newsletter made up of early drafts, and links to things that have stuck in my head. Mostly I plan to write about digital and data cultures, sexuality, gender and health.

When I was a PhD student, I went to a session on ‘learning how to lecture’. The only thing that really stayed with me was the facilitator’s observation that when planning a lecture, it’s essential to distinguish between things that are ‘Need to Know’ and things that are ‘Nice to Know’.

This blog is a space for me to work those distinctions out, so expect some of both.
