Spring is here and I’m even thinking a bit about summer.

CineMalPractice is tomorrow. Check out their Facebook page for a link to the virtual show and celebrate the worst in cinema ;).

RavenCon is next weekend. Really looking forward to talking about things like Doctor Who and early science fiction. Hope to see some of you there.

Just found out I’m either on or moderating (which is yet unclear) a panel about gender and sexuality in worldbuilding at the Nebulas conference in Chicago. I don’t get to do this every year because we have so many highly qualified people, so it feels pretty good.

Working on edits for an unannounced project that will hopefully become an announced project soon. Also doing some RPG work - some editing/co-writing. Not sure exactly how I’ll be credited for it, but it’s fun, even if a bit stat blocky (some days I hate stat blocks).

And I’m spending the first part of May in St. Louis, visiting my father-in-law, and then making a literary pilgrimage to Hannibal, Missouri, childhood home of our good friend Sam Clemens/Mark Twain. A Mark Twain story may come out of this!
