Greetings! Welcome to my Spring 2024 update. I have a lot to share as we look towards the delightful emergence of springtime:

• My Photos at Artomatic

• A New Story Acceptance

• Migration from Tinyletter to Buttondown

My Photos at Artomatic

I am so pleased to share that I am showing my photographs at Artomatic this spring in Washington, DC. Artomatic is an unjuried art show, run by artist volunteers, that has taken over an eight-story office building and filled every corner with art.

Artomatic dates & times: MARCH 8 - APRIL 28

• WED-THURS: 5:00PM - 9:30PM

• FRI-SAT: 12:00PM - 12:00AM

• SUN: 12:00PM - 9:00PM

• MON-TUES: CLOSED

In addition to my photos, Artomatic features the art of nearly 1000 artists, performers, and independent filmmakers. On the weekends, there is a market, workshops, and other live events.

My photos are in room 4064. Watch for this sign and tiny photo previews just outside my door.

You can also buy prints of my photos by sending a link or thumbnail of a photo from my website or Instagram to me, jeanne AT kramersmyth DOT com. I'd also be happy to curate a custom set of images for you based on your color and style preferences!

Prices:

• 12”x12” Metal Print: $120

• 8”x8” Metal Print: $90

• 4”x4” Metal Print: $54

• 5”x5” Luster Print w/ Foam Core Backing: $18 each/4 for $50

Looking for other ways to enjoy my photos? Find them on products (phone cases! notebooks! stickers!) at my RedBubble shop. Can’t spot an image of mine you wish were available on RedBubble? Please contact me and I will add it.

New Story Acceptance

In other exciting news, my third short story set in the world of the Magellan Transstellar Boarding School has been accepted for inclusion in Brave New Girls: Chronicles of Curious Girls Who Create. The Brave New Girls anthologies are collections of YA science fiction short stories featuring girls who are all about STEM: science, technology, engineering, and math. Revenues from sales of these anthologies are being donated to the Society of Women Engineers scholarship fund.

The book should be available in July 2024. I will share pre-order links as soon as I have them.

Migration to Buttondown Email

You may have noticed that this newsletter is coming from a new source. Tinyletter shut down a few months back, inspiring me to seek out an alternative. If you are reading this newsletter in an email, then the migration of your subscription to Buttondown.email worked without any need for action on your side.

If you would like to read through any of my earlier newsletter installments, you can visit this online archive.

Thank you for your continued interest in my creative ventures!

Jeanne
