the card for January is the nine of swords, this card points to my insomnia. but I felt calm when I looked at the image on it, the person in the bed with their head in their hands and the swords above them. something about patience, finding patience, finding patience is my biggest lesson, this is obvious, has been obvious for some time but couldn’t admit it... survive better by stepping outside of myself and then stepping back further into myself by creating work born from the confusing circumstances I find myself in. this way the circumstances might feel more like a gift than a punishment.
