For the Hurting...
Dear reader,
Today, October 17th, 2026, marks the opening date of the site’s trauma section called “For the Hurting”.
This area of the site has the heaviest pieces that aim at naming / exposing the wound and for those that have gone through anything traumatic that those poems depict, to feel seen, to feel known, and to know they aren’t alone. (The content in these poems range from abuse, incest, assault, etc.)
This is a curated experience. I held off making it, so I could dedicate the time that space deserves. It was made for the wounded; for the unwounded, it will place you in the headspace of those that have endured.
Due to the nature of the poems, they are placed behind a second consent gate. This is so that no visitor accidentally stumbles into them. For those who have been hurt, this section could be triggering. If you aren’t ready to view these poems, that’s perfectly okay; the secondary consent is a place to reflect and decide if it is worth continuing.
If you are interested in accessing this area, you may click here. Also, I want to remind everyone today of the recently updated / upgraded Caring Resources page. It is at the footer of every poem if needed.
And to those that have endured: “you are not broken. You are not unworthy. You are incredible—nothing has ever changed.”
For those that have not endured: “you too, are incredible, nothing has changed.”
Yours Truly,
GhostAgent
