Embrace Sanctuary
Hello everyone,
I am very excited to finally be able to share with you, an update to the site I’ve been working to release for a while now. This update overhauls the visual aspects—giving flesh to the skeleton that was.
I don’t even know where to start for this one—that would be the excitement lol. At the heart of it all is…
“a place where emotions and thoughts
and stories and “what nots”
shall reside—
all treasures to hide.
All feelings once thought dead,
hallowed reflections of a fulfilling thread
now proven to be alive—
in their place where they thrive.
A container bursting, no longer stationary
revel now, subject thyself… to Sanctuary.”
Sanctuary is the heart (hub) of the entire site. What was once the Emotional Selector is now known as the Somatic Shards. Somatic refers to the part of the nervous system that can take control (known as a Somatic Response) and cause an involuntary motion or movement. Shards of glass are both beautiful and dangerous since they can cut. Shards are broken pieces of a whole. Thus, Somatic Shards are smaller fragments of the whole human condition that you are.
There is also a wheel for the Somatic Shards. It consists of rotating shards connected to the emotion you desire to explore. Everything else has also had a visual face-lift and music has been added to Sanctuary so as to wrap you in the arms of unease and embrace you, as you realize it isn’t so bad after all.
Portals: The site now has portals to transport you to other areas of the GhostAgent Universe. These are gateways to alert you that you are leaving the main site (ghostagent.net), but going to one of these external platforms (which I call “fiefs”) that host a service I use—such as FourthWall (for donations) or Buttondown (for newsletters). (They use their own Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.)
The site is now visually and musically engaging. I hope you enjoy the immersive additions. Much love has gone into creating this unique experience. Feel free to share any feedback—I'd genuinely love to hear it, the good and the bad alike.

I’m still working on the Series section and the Hurting sections. I’ll be sure to send an update when those are done.
In the meantime, know that you deserve to relax and enjoy.
Regards,
GhostAgent
