I'm doing the final corrections on a novel that's been years in the making, and I found a wonderful site called TrackBear (trackbear.app) that allows you to set NaNoWriMo-style goals with little graphs that show your progress. What's great is that you can do more than track words--you can track TIME. So I've set the goal of doing a minimum of ten hours of work on finishing/laying out the book within the month of October. (That's 20 minutes a day with Halloween off.) I hope to do more than that, but this is something of an experiment, so I'm keeping my expectations low so I don't burn myself out trying to reach a loftier goal.
